What is the Pelvis?
The Pelvis is located in the lower part of our Torso and is a triangle-shaped bone consisting of 3 bones, 2 joints, and 45 muscles.
Is there a difference between the male and female pelvis?
The shape of the pelvis varies according to one’s sex; Males have a thick pelvis to support their heavier body build whereas the female pelvis is broader to support childbirth.
How does Pelvis support our body?
It is one of the most useful elements in the body as it supports the urinary system, genitals, and digestive system. It facilitates their function of urination, sex, and digestion. The Pelvis floor forms the part of the core muscle along with abdominals and back muscles.
How can we improve our Pelvic Health?
-It is recommended to drink at least 8 glasses of water every day.
-We should be able to pee 6-8 times a day; That is every 2-3 waking hours a day.
-Lengthy toileting must be avoided and a person should be able to poop once in 3 days or thrice in a day without any difficulties.
-A healthy diet with amble fluids and fiber must be followed.
What is considered normal poop?
Bristol scale 4-5 is considered normal poop.
What is a normal bowel movement?
A person has normal bowel movements when pooping once in 3 days or 3 times a day without any strain. Pushing must be avoided during pooping or urinating.
